Growth Director

PublishDrive, the simple and effective all-in-one global publishing solution, is hiring a Growth Director. 

Who we are:

We started with a simple idea—that everyone should be able to publish their books—and we’ve been rethinking the publishing journey ever since.

PublishDrive gives authors and independent publishers the power to publish ebooks, print books, serials, audiobooks, and translated works for foreign markets through more than 50 partners and retailers in more countries around the world. We integrate marketing tools and a reporting dashboard in our platform. And instead of charging authors and publishers additional royalties every time they sell a book, we charge one flat fee in order to control expenses and keep every cent of the royalties earned.

What we’re aiming for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Growth Director to join our team. As the Growth Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies, implementing new projects and identifying new opportunities to increase our company's revenue and customer base, and also work closely with the marketing, communications and sales team to identify growth levels and oversee execution.

As our Growth Director you will be responsible for:

  • Managing direct reports from the business line of the company: marketing, brand, sales.
  • Leading team leaders to make the strategy in action with their teams on the highest standard.
  • Working as a leader to define and plan the goals and opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing communication, brand, marketing, pricing, design, product, customer operations and sales strategies in order to ensure the company’s revenue growth.
  • Defining new tactics and projects that can generate new revenue and leads for the business.
  • Identifying new potential opportunities that compliment the business goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets and KPIs to track and measure success
  • Developing analysis reports on the project to track progress on our goals.
  • Conducting thorough market research and using the relevant data for decisions.
  • Identifying the current trends in the industry and forecasting what’s next.
  • Developing good relationships with former and active customers in order to generate more sales.
  • Analyze data and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Creating campaigns and strategies that can attract more customers to the business.
  • Suggesting areas of improvement to achieve growth, as well as managing the development of strategies to take advantage of these ideas with the relevant team members and their direct reports (in any part of the company.)
  • Responsible for optimizing the customer funnel in all parts of the journey with the relevant team members: awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, revenue.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer operations, sales, product to develop and implement growth initiatives
  • Reporting to C-level directly.

You are a perfect team member, if you have:

  • College/University degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in growth marketing
  • Professional experience in tech field
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and customer acquisition through innovative growth strategies
  • Leadership experience with not just direct reports, but leading team leaders/managers and projects with outside stakeholders
  • Experience in managing budgets and KPIs
  • Strategic mindset with creative thinking
  • Expertise in analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Initiative and proactive problem solving, can-do attitude
  • Passion for keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in growth marketing
