What we’re aiming for:
We are ready to take the next steps with our new Test Automation Specialist colleague in our awesome team. The Test Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to enhance our software quality assurance process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, and excellent problem-solving skills.
As a Test Automation Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with software development and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements and develop automated test strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing automated testing processes and frameworks.
- Participate in the planning and estimation of testing efforts for new and existing projects.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in test automation and software testing methodologies.
You are a perfect team member, if you have:
- Proven experience as a Test Automation Specialist or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavasScript/TypeScript
- Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Behave, Pest
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g. X-Ray)
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
